Therapist/Licensed Master Social Worker
Catherine Schueman is a Licensed Master Social Worker with more than 20 years of clinical experience in substance abuse, sexual addiction, betrayal trauma, and post-traumatic stress disorder. Catherine has completed her Master’s in social work, giving clients not only the benefit of her extensive addiction counseling background, but also the knowledge base to help clients access available community resources to ease the burden of their journey. Catherine recently completed her training as a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist and has the knowledge and understanding to help couples and individuals heal from unwanted sexual behaviors and betrayal trauma. Her broad expertise has included extensive experience with troubled teens, anger issues, women’s trauma, self-esteem, and assisting individuals reentering society from the Criminal Justice system. Catherine is compassionate and caring and always seeks to see the individual for their story, not allowing them to be defined by their situation. To Catherine no individual is embodied by their diagnosis. She has worked with those society had no other options, who now lead successful lives using Solution Focused, Trauma therapy and with her caring approach to the individual person. Catherine believes that change happens when people are given the support they need to draw on their own strengths and realize their potential for living fulfilling happy lives. She is working under supervision with Jenni Kuck.
