Miranda forms a collaborative relationship with clients, empowering them to gain awareness of their needs. She uses a family-systems approach to help families work together for the benefit of the individual and the family. She specializes in working with depression, anxiety, self-esteem, substance abuse, and interpersonal relationships through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness, Motivational interviewing, and person-centered approaches. She is experienced in working with children and teens, including foster youth and their families, and has provided individual, group, and family therapy for teenage adolescent boys in substance abuse treatment, as well as inpatient treatment for adolescent girls and boys. Miranda works under the supervision of Jenni Kuck.
Credentials: Master’s Degree in Social Work.
